I've been at work so not posted on there today. I'm already banned from Leeds board but saving it now for when we can all go on at once.

8-12 all at once would cause absolute carnage.

I think they're gaining commercial benefits from it now though so maybe that was their intentions all along

 

I was never on BBC606 so never liked the format. It's so hard to keep track of threads and ppl quoting you etc.

I was on the old SkySports forum. That was bloody good but always shut at 8pm.

 

The old BBC site used to close at 11pm. There was always a mad scramble to try and get the last word in bang on 11pm so that the **** you were arguing with couldn't answer back

 

One of THE best posters on SkySports forum was a bloke called NoOpinion.

Arguably the best poster on a forum I've come across. But never saw him again after the forum closed down.

 

I used to use the SkySports forum too, my username on there was NoOpinion

 

Ha! There was a glitch on the SS forum so if you posted dead on 8pm you could carry on posting on that thread. So you'd just slate ppl you were arguing with, without reply

I left 606 years ago and joined a general fans forum called After Hours Football Club. It was fun for a few years but eventually imploded. Guess which set of fans killed that forum....clue, it rhymes with Chelsea

 

I joined a forum called the 11 o'clock club. It was designed specifically for the after hours when BBC shut down at 11pm.
A kind of virtual cigar smoking room, where you could swear after Aunty had gone to bed.

The old BBC 606 site was moderated by some real twats. Some **** put up a post about how the BNP were right and that every one not white should be deported. So I responded asking why a nazi lover was on a state sponsored commie website and I was banned. When I complained that they were allowing the site to be used as a BNP mouthpiece but had banned me for objecting to the prick they said I had been unnecessarily rude but had now banned him and unbanned me! They also asked me to stop using the words nazi and prick in future posts ... they'd have had a meltdown trying to moderate on here
