2nd half, Jacko was easily our best player. Chased everything, harnessed their cente halves, amd was a dangerous outlet down the channels. He's not a #9, but does.give us a different.option up top.
Humphreys is also growing in stature, will be an excellent little player.
On the flip side, thought Burgess was awful today, whenever he had possession, he'd always lump it out of play.
All in all, decent performance, and thought posh were very average at best

I thought Jackson had a decent game. He’s not a massive goal scoring threat (not great for a striker) but his work rate was high and worked the channels well. Aluko coming back in was great for us as he is 1 player that will put his foot on the ball. Not a great performance all round - would call it workmanlike but delighted with the 3 points and both Plymouth & Sheff Wed dropped points as an added bonus

And after such a disappointment at World Cup, we still have Ipswich to lift our spirits! The ref tonight had a shocker, and of course we are always undone by penalties.

    Up the Town!

Are they using League One refs at the World Cup this year?

Felt so sorry for Harry Kane, but he and the team can hold their head high, as can Southgate.

On the one hand, it’s not Harry Kane’s fault. On the other, our defending has been shocking and nowhere near the level at the Euros - and we’ve not used Sterling, Rashford or Grealish as much as we should have. The bust up with Ben White tells the story of a camp not entirely harmonious. All of that and only a week less travel and settling in to prepare. England’s tournament has been the story of one of the top teams comfortable of a Champions League spot but not doing enough to win the title outright, much like Spurs.
