13 years without an FA Cup win...surely a record??? Would be nice to get a few cup wins, but not to the detriment of our league position. A home tie against non league would be nice...and surely not another Lincoln!
Not sure it's quite that long back - but happy to be proved it is. Trivia question then - when was our last fa cup win and in what year? Think we all know we didn't win a game under Mick so 2012 earliest - scratching head here. Genuinely do not know the answer.
https://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/34977/town-ball-19-in-fa-cup-draw 2010 under Keane. Didn't win a game under Jewell either!
Gives Lambert the easiest team talk ever ' do you want to play at craptips like this every week next season ? '
I fancy going to this, I remember Stanley before they went out of the league and it's one of those names that sticks in the mind and the opportunity to go to a new ground, plus I 'll know the way for next season.
That's right BA and it will probably be Billy Kee that scores against us, he's the Accrington striker we should have signed instea
Sorry tablet malfunction, should have read Billy Kee the striker we should have signed instead of Jackson.
The FA Cup is absolutely magic. No reason we can’t go on a decent cup run. In a series of one off games anything can happen. The players will relish being the underdogs.
