Not a solitary shot on target in an hour and a halfs football, Sears anonymous, McG hopeless, Iorfa bringing new meaning to the word dreadful, Bart shakey, no urgency, no passion, chances wasted by overplaying in already tight situations, no one who would take responsibility and try a first time shot.
Positives? Knudsen, Kenlock, and a good performance from Hyam for an hour apart from that theres not much to enjoy.
We are one down but Garner doesnt come on to partner Waghorn, Skuse doesnt come on either so we give the ball away with monotonous regularity and safely escort Blades players to the edge of our box, what a bloody shambles.

We headed into the match with another negative, dour, cynical mindset. The injuries don't help, but that doesn't excuse the pathetic, poor performance we put in. How many of these do we have to tolerate? McCarthy will cop most of the blame again (as he should do) but the players on the pitch look like they're going through the motions now. The fact we are going to be patched up with loanees this transfer window offers a damning indictment that we are a club treading water, waiting for the manager to bow gracelessly out in May. What a sorry state of affairs. I cannot see any point in watching games this season anymore, this season has clearly been written off by not just the owner and the manager, but also, quite crucially, the players themselves.

 

Are w3 that desperate that we need Skuse to come on?? If the current trend continues, average gates will fall to 7-8000. Who wants to watch a team that doesn’t have a shot on target in the whole match - reminds me of another Mick we had in charge in the early nineties
