As for the focussing on cups theory - I suspect from the way theyve been speaking gaz and AH want to win the checkatrade trophy and get a good money boosting run in the FAC, finish midtable and push next year.... Anyway onwards to the next round - nice winnable tie and then a huge prem team away in the third round
A great game of football from the Wanderers apart from when Pompey scored just after half time there was only one team going to win. Like the rest of us on here don't get to see the Wanderers very often, but Akinfenwa really was brilliant today the way he led the line & some of his touches were sublime he could have had a hat trick. The midfield ran the game & Bloomfield seems to have found a new lease of life not somebody who has played 10years for the club. Only one thing which Wanderers are going to turn up at the next game, it must be so frustrating if you go every week.
As someone whos now able to go every week for the first time in years (apart from, sods law, this game!) I can vouch it is really really frustrating!!!!!
