    The thing is CD I made no issue at all.......

    Just pointed out there is no need for attempted insults....a hillbilly is someone that comes from in and around the Appalachian mountains wow that's a clever insult......but I'm sure you'll agree that starting with childlike playground name calling things can escalate to harsher comments............my avatar is just a gentleman with a beard?.......

    I didn't liken Munkys comment to anything else ...I think you have done so in your head or tried to read between the lines and got it wrong.......if you look back at this thread I don't think I have insulted anyone and I've certainly not 'de-railed' anything...........so for someone to post on a thread they want to end and start that post with an insult to get a response shows a slight conflict of interests.

    If I read it wrong I apologise, it did appear to me that you were trying to make an issue of it!

    For the record (pun intended) "hillbilly" refers to a style of country music, very much akin to "bluegrass!" <ok>

    Which originated in the Appalachian mountains the home of the Hillbillys which is were the music got its name....but that's beside the point.


    I commented on the 'insult' just because it seemed a little uncalled for and in this thread I've been on best behaviour ...regarding name calling and childishness (I'm not above that but I know it's frowned upon here).

    Apology accepted..


    Just a side point is it not slightly amusing that those that want this thread to stop keep posting on it....<laugh>

    The Tory adulation is the one thing that annoys me with Warky's posts.
    He is free to have this odd hero worship complex but when he starts banging on about it on our boards on football related threads it is basically SPAM.
    His defense of Mick & his hoofball side can be entertaining IMHO.

    JWM is a typical working class Tory. He is somebody who thinks that because he has hauled himself out of the gutter (a bit) he is fit to mix it with the toffs. They just regard his type as fools. His ludicrous claim that his stepfather owned a house in line to be taxed as a mansion was a case in point. He didn't have the brains to think it all through and a little forensic work unravelled his tale. The man's a fooool I tell you, a fooool !! I bet he hates me I'm cleverer than him and a leftie. Neither of which takes much achievement.
