What's he done from a free kick, needs dropping. At least Diallo hit the target in the Burnley game(?).
How much better? Promotion?? This squad (minus a couple of the youngsters he played at the weekend and got lambasted for) finished 5th in league 1 last season. And you think they could go up? Or play offs? I said I’d be happy to stay in the division after we got promoted. It’s mostly the same players. Promotion would likely destroy them as they’d be nowhere near good enough for the premier league. Not exactly sure what Mowbray has done wrong. Similar record to Neil who was roundly loved. We’ve played some lovely football and some poor football under both. Not saying Mowbray is the “perfect appointment”, but saying he should be nowhere near is laughable. Love to know who you think would be better
O.k., apart from roads, viaducts and sanitation, what's Pritchard done from a free kick this season, needs replacing as free kick specialist. At least Diallo hit the target in the Burnley game(?).
Who mentioned promotion? That’s definitely not expected but would it be too much to ask for top half with an outside chance of the play-offs? Mowbray will have us a lot closer to a relegation battle imo. How he didn’t change things at HT or even earlier against Cardiff is ridiculous. It was clear as day the goal was coming. We’ll see how he goes when he gets some injuries back… Seems a lot of our support are happy for us to just trudge along and show zero ambition.
If you think zero ambition is what we have now, yes, the majority of supporters are very happy with it
There’s “zero ambition” and trying to remain optimistic with a sense of where we currently belong. I think, if we hadn’t had the injuries, we’d be sitting lower top half. That’s not Mowbray fault. Speakman is firmly to blame for the lack of striking options. That is not me saying I think speakman has done a bad job generally. The players we’ve signed have been excellent Felipe the most part this season. Just that we shouldn’t have been left with 2 strikers
I agree, we are mid table at best this season and that will do me. The Speakman mistake ?, This next window will probably shed more light on Speakmans ability, he needs to get the balance right , not only to give this manager a chance to silence his critics. but also to strengthen his own version of the Alex Neil story. Nah, I got pìssed one night and ate bbq ribs that must of been dodgy. Woke up on the kitchen floor with me head in BBQ sick. No thanks.
