In that case don't make senseless, insulting/seemingly threatening posts and just place me on ignore. Simple!
There you go, normal service. I said I misquoted you. I said sorry. I didn't threaten you. But you reverted to type.
Will Grigg should be starting every week and with some decent service he will come good. Martin Bain had his hands completely tied and was just doing his job. A director of football is an absolute must for this club to ever sustain a Premier League status again. Martin O'Neill would have kept us up if he wasn't sacked. Craig Gordon is the best keeper we've had in my lifetime (I'm 35) and was hugely underrated by people who didn't understand how good his positioning was. That should keep this thread going for a while.
Dick Advocaat was a good appointment, and should have been allowed to build his own team, instead of having to work with players like Adam Matthews, who Congerton brought in.
Theres as much chance of Marcus Maddison failing here as there is of him succeeding. £2.5m is way too high. I'm not fussed if we dont go for him.
MON would have kept us up Some of our fans are thick as pig **** when it comes to thinking lacking in confidence means not trying
Short has to take some responsibility for employing and putting trust in the wrong people. However, I believe his heart and intentions were in the right place. I don't think Defoe is that type of man and he will always have my respect. Di Canio was a total loop in some ways, but I do wish we had given him more time and patience to clear out the rotten apples. Methven was correct about Wembley which may have made the difference between winning and losing.. This is my take on these anyway..
