    To us he might be a twat but you couldn't possibly look at what he's done with Wigan and not be impressed.

    Definitely a good chairman.

    no chairmans are twats in my view they pay you money to get people and keep the club going i wanted you to win your games and sunderland to draw against spurs so villa would go down

    Whelan should have kept quiet re Thatcher IMO.His comments rather changed my opinion of the bloke and maybe wrongly lessened my sympathy for the club.

    Cruyffs turn .the thing is about uncle dave when he says things about Thacher it is only to draw attention to himself and the club but and i've said this in the past everybody falls for it every time.

    8 years in the Premier League, right? That's a pretty good run and you did yourselves proud. Seeing your team you love and support relegated is an awful feeling, but you won the FA Cup to soften the blow, congrats on that btw :)

    Shame to see a good footballing side go down, but hopefully you'll bounce straight back :)
