To us he might be a twat but you couldn't possibly look at what he's done with Wigan and not be impressed. Definitely a good chairman.

Whelan should have kept quiet re Thatcher IMO.His comments rather changed my opinion of the bloke and maybe wrongly lessened my sympathy for the club.
