Tbh having watched him before he joined I wasn't surprised. Which is also why I said he reminds me of Ronaldo when he first arrived. Not saying Antony is that good, but the self confidence and attitude and "show pony" stuff. And I hope no one gets on his back about it like they did with Ronaldo in 2003+

I watched some youtube vids of him when we were first linked (yes, i know youtube could make me look semi pro but) one of them was about 15 mins long and unlike many that show the same clips over and over from different angles this one just showed clips from game after different game.
The reason i am saying this is because he successfully did the same things time after time against different opponents so not just "oh look what he did once" kind of vid.
I mentioned a couple of weeks back (not sure if on here or general match) that he loves the use of his heel either to pass a player, make a pass or even control the ball, he has already shown that for us within 15 mins when he was pressed by two defenders and used his heel to pass between them and set up an attack
From some it's flash but from what i have seen with him it's invention.

 

He needs to shut the fck up quite frankly.

He tries to overcompensate for his United career and ends up sounding nothing but ridiculously anti-United. The foul was a foul and his first call was to say it wasn't. Then back tracked to "soft foul" after the replay. He needs to shut the fck up.

Having said that, Maguire doesnt desrve to be selected for England. And actually taking him out of the limelight may actually be the best thing for him.

 

He seems to be solid in most of the game. But just at Utd his errors tend to lead to goals. It’s like some curse. Other defenders make mistakes too. Like Stones and Dier but they get away with it. If I were Southgate I wouldn’t play him. Like Napoleon once said he needed lucky generals not brilliant ones. And Harry seems to have walked under a ladder, broken a mirror and kicked a black cat all in one go.

Harry is psychologically messed up at the moment. He doubts himself so much that it leads to really bad judgements. Gave the ball away unnecessarily, then couldn’t control his eye to ball coordination to kick the leg. It must have been a nightmare for him knowing he had conceded a penalty.

Southgate is actually an idiot for playing him. It’s not helping Harry. And to suggest after that showing that ETH should restore him sounds like he’s sleeping with Harry.

 

So he stayed to play in the CL.

Iv'e always said that a player who wants to go to a team in the CL is not one who backs himself to help get a team there.

 

Tbf Xavi is a twat for not playing him.

 

I thought he was injured or coming back from injury. Either way, he has wasted a great opportunity to join us in the summer. He sure as hell regrets it now that he’s barely playing for a team that is almost out after 4 group games. I hope LvG is also very happy that a key member of his national side is barely playing after refusing to join United.
