Tbh playing Hannibal was a complete fck up. He gets a yellow card early, puts pressure on Casemiro who then gets a yellow 10 mins later. From that moment on we lost the midfield and the game changed.
Well we have started the first 10 mins of this half looking a fair bit better but i must say i am so far dissapointed with Mount every time i see him.
Don't recall saying it was, just that in the striker position he would be tasked with scoring goals. Not really had much to feed off though so hard to blame him.
When things are allowed to get as bad as they’ve become, it really doesn’t matter who plays. Low morale to the tune of bad leadership can quickly eat away at progress and destroy a team’s spirit beyond the pitch. And without a strategy, the outcome will invariably disappoint. What a fkin disgrace!
This is so bad. We literally cannot thread 3 yard through balls into the box between players. I've counted 4 times when our players have attempted it and simply hit hit it to a Newcastle defender. This is so bad, it's not even Championship level.
No low morale wasn't the problem tonight. They've been largely trying. But the tactics, the passing, goal threat are just non-existent. Attacking wise and defensively.
I'm expecting @Christiansmith to come on and tell us that he's watched us under O'Farrell, Doherty, Sexton and this is the worst performance he's ever seen
