Not really matth, Utd are light years ahead in terms of global support, club worth, trophies won etc, but based on things THIS season playing wise Utd are lagging behind, like I said the CL is the defining chance Utd have to upstage them.

I'm going to quickly mention this before I jump in the shower, as it's going make me feel sick and really, really filthy.

I hope Utd beat City tonight.

Why not. United win tonight, you and City play out a draw and put the title back in our hands ;).

De Gea, RVP and Rooney would definitely get in. I'd say Mata would have a decent chance of getting in too

What would be the combined team?

De Gea/Hart (not much in it for me- will go for De Gea to avoid a Matth breakdown)

    Zabaleta
    Kompany
    Evans?
    Evra

    Yaya
    Fernandinho
    Silva
    Mata

    Aguero
    Rooney

Wouldn't disagree with that to much, there's a few notable ones left out like RVP, but it's a close call, as Rooney and Aguero have had good seasons

De Gea maybe, him and Hart are similar level IMO.

But how would you get RVP, Rooney and Mata into a Manchester 11. Moyes can't get all 3 in the Manchester United team without sticking Mata out wide where he is less effective.

On top form RVP and Rooney would have a shout but I think Aguero, Silva, Nasri and Negrado have all had better seasons than RVP and Mata.

Mata could play wide, as the reason it doesn't work with us, is because we don't have 2 exceptional midfielders like Toure and Fernandinho, so he could get away with not tracking back, like Silva and Nasri do. It wouldn't be the perfect position for him, but Silva and Nasri are number 10s, and they just drift inside, with the width coming from the full backs. Mata would work in that system as he's very similar to Silva

Also De Gea is twice the player of Joe Hart, how anyone could even debate that is beyond me
