    This is one of many matches we absolutely need to win. We have to beat Arsenal and City. We just cannot afford any more soft draws against the bottom clubs. Not to mention getting something against Spurs.

    Because all I ever suggested is we need to see out the season regardless of how and you decided this was a soundbite and a cliché.

    Which it wasn't, because any sane United fan worthy of the name wants exactly this, to see out the season with the end justifying the means.
