I think we need two attacking midfielders - one in the middle and the other on the right. Sell Lingard while at it. If we can get rid of Pogba in January (especially now that it is reported that he wants 600k a week), it will be very wise of us to do so. We should have sealed Fernandes deal - I was betting on that. It will be sad to miss out on him. At this rate, Poch will probably be our next manager. But I'd rather have Brendan Rodgers even with his Liverpool history which a lot of fans will cry about. We need to be pragmatic going forward and less emotional.
Well I presume you want to be challenging for the league again and imo Rodgers isn't going to get you there. He's a good coach but that's it.
He almost won the league with Pool if not for Stevie lad slipping up at crunch time. I prefer him because he fully understands the league and the the culture that goes with it. If we are being smart, we would go with someone like him than to simply go for another so called "super-coaches". We have tried that twice and failed. First and foremost, we need a stable club that can consistently perform at the top. No point thinking of winning the league without getting that right first. Brendan fits that bill. https://metro.co.uk/2019/10/01/bren...e-gunnar-solskjaer-says-jason-cundy-10841318/ - I literally just googled that to see if others are thinking the same thing.
