Torres was already **** when we sold him, and so I wasn't too bothered. I knew we had wrung the best out of the lad, but RvP is different, at the top of his game, and £24M (if that is even anywhere what you will get is not £50M, that would be twice what you got... more than twice. Who knows, you may still have the last laugh, if Charlie Adam breaks his leg when we play them
You think Arsenal fans would be reacting similarly if RVP had gone to Juve? We had all accepted that he'd be gone soon after that letter, where he ended up is the real issue.
Go back and see. I've been fairly cool about RvP leaving ever since we signed Podolski and Giroud. The fact that we got 24M for him absolutely amazes me; I was worried no one was going to buy him at any price.
HI Cardiff fan, This is about loyalty. Every fan in the country will look down on the player for turning his back on a club and fans that provided the platform for his goals. Bellamy is back at Cardiff with no other reason than wanting to play for his home team. My hope is Arsenal finish on top of Utd now. Would have been worse if you had lost your manager. good luck john
Loyalty eh? Like the great Arsenal hero Sol Campbell who left on a free ensuring Tottenham Hotspur recieved no fee for him after all the hard work they put in. Strange. Or what about Tevez, who United helped? Figo? Ah right, only when the player signs for United is it a problem. Silly me, thinking fans were not stupid.
