Because in previous seasons we'd have been top of the league, 6 points clear of City, and still in the EC, FA Cup and LC! We can go on about being 2nd as much as we like but compared to previous seasons this is well below standard.
Fowler, not in the Aussie league, is one of the best finishers England has produced in the last twenty years - he's also up there with the all time top Prem scorers which is excellent considering how many injuries he has had. Had he not been unfairly shunned out of the club things would of been very diferent for him and the amount of games/goals he would of had for us - still 158/330. Not rating Fowler is not surprising given who you support. He should never of gone. Owen, is he not the all time top goal scorer for England? He's cripled by injury and a lack of motivation, but again he's right up there. McManaman - is he not the player picked by Real and went on to win La Liga, the Champs League (in which he scored) and the Spanish cup? Is he not the most successful Englishman to ever travel abroad? I don't doubt Scholes and Giggs, but I think you underrate ours, which if they had such a stable platform as your team has had, would look very different statistically.
This time last year utd were 2 points clear with a game in hand, unbeaten in the league and still in CL.
Exactly - Anyone that knows anything about football (rivalry aside) would clearly recognise Fowler as one of the best strikers of our generation.
Who has said we're close? You're full of **** mate. One or two young guys get carried away but most know exactly where we're at.
Rosicky, Park, Squillaci, Djourou, Fabianski, Arshavin, Chamakh, Almunia. And you say we are infested with average players...
The "liverpool route" which since your last trophy win has seen us win the Champions League and the FA Cup?
Yep,We played 1 game and scored the same amount of goals and more penalties than the opposition. We never had to 1st qualify then navigate the group stage and then the knockout stage. deffo a fluke.
United got battered by Bayern at the Nou Camp in 99 and nicked 2 goals in injury time. Now that was a fluke.
LMFAOLOLZLOLZ! <ja606stylelaughsmileysx1,000,000> Even we acknowledge it wasn't a great side...Traore at RB? We still won the ****ing Champions League numb nuts.
good question that although in all fairness Fabregas will win loads now he's left the bottlers and it won't be long before that Van Persie fella wins it...with someone else
