Well there's one thing the U's fan will love about him he's been in a team that beat the scum...

Johnson joined Yeovil Town on an initial one month loan on 14 January 2011, and made his debut as a substitute in the 1–0 win against S*****n Town on 15 January. His first goal for the club came against Brentford, helping Yeovil to a 2–1 win. He scored twice more for the club, including a volley in a 1–0 win against Tranmere Rovers. On 9 January 2012, Johnson had his contract with Norwich terminated by mutual consent.

I think he will be an excellent player at this level! Did quite well for Norwich in League One and I always felt that if he could force his way into the first team consistently he would have been more composed.

Looked very skilful. He came on as sub on his Norwich debut, skinned about 3 players and got a decent shot away. Second game (playing on a mud bath of a pitch) he showed excellent control and scored a decent goal (about 2m20 on the link below). Could have achieved much more at Norwich if our rise hadn't taken us beyond his realistic level!

Don't take my word for it tho, he was signed for us by Paul Lambert, who is excellent at spotting players with potential. I think you have made an EXCELLENT signing. I hope he helps you win promotion to League One, which is probably the level he should be playing at.

    Good luck!

Cheers for the post Rubik, Oli made his debut for us this weekend in the 62 minute, and for the brief periods of time when he had the ball showed some real potential. Hopefully with some time on the training pitch with the rest of the team he can get used to how we like to play and can develop into a great signing.
