    It was a joke

Moyes has to use him right though

  4. Moyes is scared of upsetting Rooney and Mata is suffering as a result.

Cleverley is not the future. he does not deserve a new deal.

The other 3 do, De gea should be on a good wage as hes more than earned a payrise.

Welbeck and jones should get an extentio0n at pretty much the same rate.

Cleverley, if we keep him, half his wages.

MAta has been in the number 10 role in the last few games.

If truth be told, only De Gea is deserving of a regular first team place.

Jones and Welbeck are squad players, good for providing cover.

Cleverley could be sold if we can buy better players in the summer.

Yeah which is why I said at the time that RVP being out could actually be better for you

Definitely looks like it at the moment. I wonder how our stats look with and without RVP this season? Wouldn't be surprised if he was one of the players who left in the summer - seems we may have gotten his last good season out of him last year.

Rooney up top with Mata behind and Welbeck / Januzaj / Valencia for width could well be our long term attacking preference.

Yeah and on paper that looks good

If RVP were to go you'd expect to bring in someone else

I think Hernandez will go as well

I dunno - we've arguably already replaced RVP with Mata, just need to move Rooney further forwards. I think if RVP goes then Hernandez might stay as he'd get more game time, but that depends if he's willing to be mainly an option off the bench.

The key buys for us this summer will be a couple of CMs, a CB, LB and probably another wide player before we need to start worrying about strikers.

Welbeck is an excellent squad player but will probably never be good enough to start every week for a side aspiring to win titles. Jones hasn't been very good recently but is just about good enough but does any United fan genuinely want Cleverley anywhere near the team unless as mascot?
