It's a derby type match, form don't mean **** in that game but you are a man u supporter who knows nothing about Spanish football if you missed that important factor Anything at all to put some good light on United, Real were poor, everyone and his dog could see that.
This and had a good goal disallowed when they weren't playing well, they even gave United a leg up with the OG so essentially they went 2 down without the help of United, OG & disallowed goal. How many Nani shirts are being sold now
What I can garner from this thread is that soccer is too subtle and complex to be refereed by humans without technological aid. As it stands allegations of bias by officials are easily deflected by saying the accusers are motivated by self interest. I can't help notice that FIFA is promoting only goal line technology as a milk sop. This will only establish if the ball crosses the line on the rare times this is in doubt, it will not address the far bigger issues of diving, was there contact or intent with a foul, inside or outside the box, was it the last defender, etc which is the sort of areas that leave massive scope for referee error and manipulation if so inclined. I take the view that not wanting to aid refs with technology implies that the governing body wants to keep that ambiguity in the game. I can only see one reason for wanting to do that.
