what an utter waste of another 90 minute ... a mixture of boredom and frustration ... !!!

Almost wished we didn't win that pen to see LVG going the way of these muppets Mourinho and Monk who both took their miserable clubs to near relegation. <ok>

I would like to draw the likes of Arsenal or City instead of teams from the lower leagues (with due respect to them). If we are going to treat every team the same we might as well get the big guns.

I agree, a 1-0 against City or Arsenal looks much better than against Sheffield United.

I haven't read all the comments, but from what I saw at the game, my honest opinion is (surprisingly) I thought we played well for much of the first half. I think we passed the ball around well and actually tried to play through the middle and there was signs of good link up play. And I have to say I thought Fellaini played well - he actually looked like a footballer. But two things let us down:

    1) We want too much time on the ball. Two touches when one will do. Far too often players think they can afford the time to pause, look up and consider their options. Even for a fraction of a second and the moment is gone - reasonably good sides close down, tackle and simply stop any impetus.

    2) Wayne Rooney. Sorry folks but he is finished at this level. A better forward, would have caused a real threat from the positions we got into in the first half. He overthinks everything, can't trap a ball to save his life anymore, and just offers fck all apart from the occasional hollywood pass. I really, honestly believe he prevented us from winning comfortably today. The real travesty is that the fcker in charge didn't sub him all game.

The second half however was a journey into hell. The football reverted back to the cumbersome, laboured sh1te we've become accustomed to. The two fellas I usually see in the seats next to me are always good for a laugh. "I wonder if they know which way we're shooting". There were groans by most of the crowd as Herrera was subbed, but Depay sparked some life in the ground with his urgency. I heard on the radio in the car, saying fans left early and that's true. A bloke near me said "My eyes are bleeding" and left <laugh>

By the way, this was the second game I took my littlun (9 yrs old) to this season and the second game where any excitement he had was soon sapped out of him by the sh1te on display. Coincidentally the previous game was also won by a Rooney penalty. The reason I'm putting this in bold is to those who believe the result is all that matters and that entertainment means nothing. Tell that to my boy you brainless fcking idiots... bcos above all that's what fcks me off the most. He didn't say anything but he didn't need to. So remember that the next time you talk about fcking 3 points. Van Gaal is a c*nt and so is anyone who still supports him <ok>

To be honest I'm all for a bit of banter but anyone who thinks that was a dive is a moron.

He actually thought it was a penalty but also that the ref must have been bent to give it. He's a clueless ****.

Yeh I have to admit I was getting all ready to hate on him, but he actually won the ball, passed it well and made some decent runs forward. He wasn't brilliant, but he was more than functional tbf.

He played alright but he has no actual impact on a game. He gets the ball and rarely, if ever in a difficult situation, gives it to the nearest player to him.

    ****e.

He never lost it once either, despite being in some tight situations. Quite happy to say he played well today.

He wriggled out of a few "difficult situations" today and did well to keep the ball for us.

I think he was trying to impress Roma and AC Milan. Even Fellaini wants to get the fck away from Van Gaal asap.

I don't want to be too down on the bloke but, it was Sheffield United. Of the first division.

If anything you're merely highlighting the problem, which is that he can't do the same against anywhere near half decent opposition.

    He's a hapless clogger.
