Yes, because I am John Terry! OOh I watched United!! I must be a United fan. Its called being a football fan mate, I watch a lot of games that Chelsea aren't involved in. Seeing as Chelsea are so unentertaining I need to seek for thrills elsewhere (thought I would get that in before someone else says it). Our opinions differ, thats fine, it happens. But don't sit there and tell me that I havent seen what I have seen and am listening to Alan Green of all people. Too skilfull for the British media!! and people say Jose is paranoid with his campaign BS.
You're sticking by your assertion that he had no end product? Goals and assists don't count as end product? I know Jose's convinced you all that parking the bus and hoping to nick a goal is the basis for quality, entertaining football but you're taking it a bit far. So you watch all of Chelsea's games and all of United's games (why United of all clubs?). Which other clubs do you follow? You can't have a lot of spare time outside of watching football. The British media tore into the kid, there's no denying that. They hated the stepovers as they thought he was showboating (which he was). He went on to make a lot of his critics look like ****s. The morons like Alan Green who said he had no end product clearly didn't know what they were watching.
Don't take 'no' end product so literally. Even a broken watch is right twice a day The point being is that he developed into a player that has arguably the best end product in world football. No-one could have reasonably expected him to be that good when he first joined United and when he was just another young winger with potential (like Young, Nani etc who have never reached anywhere near that level).
No end product at all is what the lad said. That's quite specific and also very incorrect! No one expected him to become one of the best in the world. His talent was obvious from day one at United though. He had the crowd going nuts on his debut against Bolton. Wenger of course claims that he tried to sign him first. Of course.
Ok Mr Literal! Poor choice of words maybe. My point was, when he joined United as a teen, people took the piss because he showboated and often ****ed it up. And because it was funny, As far as watching ALL of United games, when did I say that? If we are being literal. I said I watched a ton of his games for United, he played hundreds of games for United. I usually watch the Super Sunday game most weeks unless its like West Brom V Stoke or something.
Not really, just a United fan hanging one word I said and taking it literally, when it was used to emphasis a point as to why people take the piss out of players. It's banter
Didn't he go 18 Champions League games without any end product. Then his career took off under Saffa, in 2006/7, and went stratospheric 07/8 before Jose and Carlo took it to another level.
2007/2008 is Ronaldo's best season for all round game. La Liga is to easy for Ronaldo he should come back to the Prem for a challenge. Remember when Arsenal fans fought Reyes was better then Ronaldo lol, Reyes was a llittle weasel that used to fall to the ground if anyone even breathed on him.
It's easy on hindsight to dismiss someone's opinions on the potential of a player. As above, one United poster thought Kagawa would be better than Hazard......
I suspect that even you know that Jose hasn't got a clue how to take players to another level which is why he doesn't bring any players through the ranks. Of all the managers Ronaldo has had he would put Jose in a very distant last place when it comes to assessing the impact they have had on his career! He seems to get on with Ancelotti though and it's obvious that Ancelotti allows Ronaldo to do pretty much whatever he wants, which is what his ego needs at this stage of his career. Good man manager is Ancelotti. Jose's a smart guy and knows his strengths and weaknesses. He recognises that he has no player development skills so he doesn't even pretend to have any interest in that side of the game. It's the main reason why his tenures at clubs are so short when compared with managers who are able to sustain medium to long term success. The Chelsea youth system is simply a production line of players to be sold on to other clubs, it helps the club generate much needed revenue that bigger clubs generate through ticket sales, sponsorship and merchandising. I doubt Jose has the faintest interest in any of the club's youth players.
Was a better player at the time due to tge season he had just had for Dortmund. Easy to look back and laugh in hindsight. Like how we look back and laugh at how Chelsea fans thought they would dominate after 2003. Funny stuff.
Kagawa powa! So how did you know Kagawa was better than Project H at that point? Watch Lille a lot that season?
Dortmund and German poty. Little tougher that the laughable French league. Dortmund were flying and he was a majpr part pf ot.
So you admit you have no idea how Haza performed in a league you laugh at. It may be a weaker league but Haza scored 20 and assisted 15 carrying a midtable Lille side that was not flying. Watch this video then may be you can make some sort of comparison
