    Exactly.

A Spurs fan is on the Utd board trying to TELL them who their biggest rivals are <doh>

    What a complete bellend.

    Quality.

It amazing me how some fans of other clubs feel they have to voice an opinion on something they have little perspective of.

Sure, of course, a Spurs fan would know who United feel is their biggest rival...

Personally losing to either Liverpool or City is a bad thing!!
Liverpool and United have History which makes it a massive game!
City and United have the rivalry of being in the same area, which makes it a massive game!

All I can say is "c'mon United!!"

Arsenal spent fifty years still seeing Spurs as their biggest rivals despite you being nowhere near them for most of that time. Even from 2005-2011 when Chelsea were the London club finishing ahead of Arsenal every season and keeping them from winning trophies the Arsenal fans still saw Spurs as their main rivals. Did you think West Ham suddenly became your main rivals in 2008 and 2009? Rivalry isn't just determined by league position or who's the latest team with a sugar daddy...

Oh, and our draw with Liverpool last weekend was watched by 500 million people round the world. The Champions League final in May was watched by 400 million. QED.

And how have City "stolen our thunder"? Did they turn up at our wedding and announce they were pregnant? You sound like an American soap opera <laugh>

To be honest it's hard to find a bigger idiot on this site than the Hoddle guy - purely here for wumming reasons. Obviously a very sad individual.

I actually feel sorry for him as he clearly has personal problems and takes it out on people over the internet.

The Spanners flatter themselves that we are their rivals, whereas all we've ever done is laugh at them.

Arsenal and Spurs will always be the greatest London derby, because we (the real North Londoners) have always views Arsenal (the Woolwich Nomads) as interlopers on our manor.

I would have thought that City feel the same way about United <ok>

Maybe the most fiercely contested on the day would be Leeds (on and off the pitch), but Liverpool-Man U is generally a bigger occasion which is given more build-up, more discussion afterwards and which is between the two clubs with the most silverware and the most fans.

I seem to remember Arsenal fans saying the same thing about the Spuds in 2008 when the Happy Hammers dropped you into the bottom half :)

And Utd - Liverpool will always be the greatest English derby because we, the most popular and greatest club in England, have always viewed Liverpool as pretenders to our throne <ok>

See your comments about West Ham flattering themselves...ditto for City. They may be up there with us this season, as West Ham were with you in 2008 and 2009, but they are a long way from being as important rivals as Liverpool in the eyes of 99% of Utd fans.
