they are going to struggle as this is a hell of a test for young lads all at once so irrespective of the result they do their best is all we want. the scary thing for them is I've never seen this side at u21 level really. they've not got a core thsts playerd together.
There's space behind but no runners and they are easily able to push right up. Endo is so weak on the ball
it's very poor from certain senior players aka Jones and endo. the children at the back are abandoned to their fate largely and they are turning over cheap ball. tactically poor from them. it's very hard be a Gordon or doak when the midfield is non existed and given its our second string senior midfield its not up to much is it?
doak needs games and get him off on loan. he's had no football at all due to injuries etc. he plays more for Scotland u21 than our u21.
if i were utd I'd press the **** out of endo on Sunday. the man is a liability as he's just too slow on thr ball and weak too.
That will only help them if Endo is on the field on Sunday. Knowing The Hag, he'll probably have his team pressing him while he's sitting on the bench.
too many people not wanting it and playing with fear. turning back out and not just doing their stuff. get some loans going in January heir lopper
Chambers will need to go on loan. that is nowhere near the level needed. Jones was so indulgent of himself. absolute pants. if that's him saying pick me boss then he wouldn't get another game all season. Elliott meh. very tough for the rest of kids when it's a struggle to get any ball in a positive way to try show anything.
would anyone say any of these put any hand up for any future selections? I would say no. kelleher imo did ok but was out of position off his near post for their second. quansah was alright. the midfield was awful and as a result young wingers with no experience will really struggle. Chambers needs to go on loan badly. Bradley will be back on loan imo, he needs games as well as he's clearly not that fit. not looking forward to endo v utd.
Their first goal was clearly offside. I'd like to see the lines they drew to get that anywhere near onside. Wrong mix of players to expect a result from the game. Only Quansah and Gomez worth a mention.
it did look offside to me. but we've a top midfield of Szoboszlai macallister and gravenberch now and the midfield today are their reserves and they were outplayed there.
