    Took his brother on holiday and said he would pay for everything. Andy then has few drinks, a starts brawling with his brother and then he leave with the rest of his family, but leaves his brother and the brothers wife in france with no money to get home.

    I know they see him as a problem in the side, doesnt fit the system at all and Suarez and Kuyt are better for them.

    I saw much the same being said last season (check the poll by the way, 80% say Suarez and Kuyt are their best pairing). It's a bit harsh on him to criticise him for the team playing the long ball, it's not his fault if he's receiving the wrong service. When he was here it was either played to his feet or crossed in to be attacked, not lumped up to him (there was the occasional agricultural hack from Willo) and see how he handles it. That said he doesn't look the same player for them.

    I think Carroll was having a go at his brothers wife or something so the brother told him to shut it and stop having a go at her. Maybes someone else can tell the story in more depth, but tbf they only got the brothers side of the story and he seemed to be playing the victim good enough.

    Hadn't seen the brother thing, found a link to it on google cache.

    As for whether I'd have him back, tbh I just don't know. I'd like a striker of his ilk again, but I still have no idea what really happened that led to his move in the first place.
