We are the Natasha Bedingfield to your Daniel. Daniel rose first and was successful, then dropped into obscurity whilst Natasha rose and was more talented, better looking and more successful
One of my grannies favourite sayings was "You can only expect a grunt from a pig" Suarez proves my grannie was right
Does he love your granny as well? He loves all grannies im certain as he is such a nice bloke but he doesnt love them in the same way as Rooney
Tbh suarez would probably celebrate like a mad man against Ghana and claim he was proving them wrong. Its because hes mentally challenged and racist. However lets not blame suarez, he did his job and got on the end of a Gerrard knock on. Other than have 2 goals gifted to him, he did nothing at all. Gerrard was uruguays best player and I am unsure as to why hes not receiving the praise he deserves in Uruguay.
Within moments of firing a dramatic and crucial winner for his country against England, Luis Suarez's thoughts immediately turned to offering words of consolation for club teammate Steven Gerrard. The prolific 27-year-old was the scourge of the Three Lions in Sao Paulo, expertly directing a header into the far corner and then driving into the roof of the net as the clock ticked to a conclusion. Victory resurrected Uruguay's hopes of qualifying for the last 16 of the World Cup in Brazil, but the result left Roy Hodgson's team requiring a remarkable turnaround if they are to progress. Amid his natural celebration following the final whistle, however, Suarez showed his deep respect for Gerrard by heading straight to the midfielder to provide his support at a difficult moment. "This is an unlucky moment for him," the talismanic forward, who notched 31 goals for Liverpool last season, explained. "I don't like it when he hurts like this." The Salto native, returning to the La Celeste line-up after missing their opening match, added: "I said: 'Keep going, forget this game, you're one of the best.' He's the best player I've played with." As a long ball bounced in behind the England defence in the final minutes of the Sao Paulo encounter, Suarez was primed and ready to capitalise on the smallest of chances to come his way. The striker scooped possession, carried forward despite a lack of balance and his powerful finish soared over Joe Hart and allowed the Reds' No.7 to set off on a passionate celebration. He said: "I had to keep calm, keep my cool and when I got the ball I just kicked it with my whole heart, thinking of all those who have supported me. "It has been like a dream. It is something I have dreamt about very often. It was one of the best games I've played. It's an amazing moment for me. Maybe a few days ago I thought this wouldn't be possible."
So he loves his Gran AND Stevie Me....better make him a Saint It's all going to worth it when he's crying on t.v in a couple of weeks though.
Maybe some of our players should show the same passion Some other countries players as swell (not just Suraz obv) you can see it means everything to them to play for their country, not with us though
Maybe. I found it all a bit over the top to be honest. You'd think they were about to win the world cup the way he was acting on the bench just before the final whistle. Was that passion or his excitement at being able to rub people's noses in it?
