Can someone tell Bruce we DO NEED A PROPER LB. Ritchie can't defend, can't jump high enough either. FB defo needed as is another big bruiser CF to take some weight off Wilson.

 

Defense was awful. Why Krafth? Where’s lascelles.

And Schar?

 

Our defence was at sixes and sevens right from the off. The time and space given to WHU was shocking and I swear by the amount of space they were finding they had 12 men on the pitch all game. Great half time team talk (again) by Bruce.

 

Schar and Lejeune were the best cbs and they couldn't get a sniff... For a defender Bruce's rating of defenders is bewildering.

CB was not an area of concern..

 

Right. This is the truth. We conceded 4 goals.

1. murphy isn’t a right back.
2. Krafth isn’t a centre back.
3. Ritchie isn’t a left back

Schar on the bench. Centre back
Lewis on the bench. Left back
Manq? Right back. Missing.

 

Thought we looked decent going forward, Woodman looked good just poor in defence - Ritchie started well but got exposed 2nd half. Clark was woeful.

Moyes used half time to reorganise his team, Bruce reorganised his plate of sarnies ...

 

Bruce was a king pin CH for his career, however, it appears he hasn't got a clue how to pass the knowledge on to our defenders who looked woeful. Clark should have played LB, Ferdi and Schar CB's

 

Very worrying calls at the back and it wasn't addressed.

West ham really went for it today and I feel we flapped it.

He got the ball I don't understand it, but ultimately nufc say back deeper than the titanic and tried to pass it slowly at the back.

It's something I think we've all noticed Bruve likes to do over his tenure and it's to get a goal then hold on.

I have to say it's only 1 game, but it's many many years since we've had such a **** defense.

If you've got a **** defense in this league you get beat every single week.

It's worrying that they just gave up and didn't chase back for the 4th

 

Bruce- Please explain when we have speed up top our defenders are woefully slow in getting the ball out of defence? All it does is allow the opposition time to get back and reorganise.
