this tactic of trying to play the ball out from the back just doesn't work
our team is not good enough to get out of our own half using this tactic
other teams press high and force us into making hurried passes and losing the ball
we didn't do this last season so you have to ask why now and who's giving this instruction
it was noticeable that Woodman was getting frustrated with the ball coming back at him less than 15 seconds
of him giving the ball to anyone of our back 5

anyhoo

BRUCE OUT

I didn't see Jones on the touchline just Bruce and agnew

I wish jetro Willems never got injured btw.. What a loss that was...

Ritchie is a reliable player with the right mentality, but he's struggling this season.
Let us be honest. Ritchie is not and never will be a defender. Constantly loses his man and fails to cut out crosses coming in. Look at the number of times his winger gets in the penalty area in front of him.
This back 5 does not work and very disappointed at Bruce's reluctance to vary it. All it does is give possession away and keeps the defence under severe pressure who just keep hoofing it away only for it to keep coming straight back. 35% possession for a home match against poor opposition is shocking. Why play like an away team hoping for a counter attack in a home game? I find Bruce's tactics a joke and wonder when will we get 3 points from a match.

BRUCE OUT
The playing out from the back is down to Graeme Jones

I still think 4 2 3 1 is the right system for the squad he's got.

Bournemouth away 2 seasons ago was our best performance under Bruce and it was 4 2 3 1...

Woodman
Manquillo. Schar. Fede. Lewis.
Longstaff. Willock.
ASM. Almiron. Fraser.
Wilson

Fraser I ****e I'd play Joelinton he can keep the ball better and he's an outlet... He did well for the 2nd goal yesterday signs he's improving although I accept he's not very good...

Basically I hate Fraser as a player... Just quick and can cross... He should've passed to max anyway before he fluffed the shot.., he can't win possession or win a ball in the air... He's far too basic...

Just my opinion and I'd rather your team than anything Bruce will serve up

My argument for Fraser over Joelinton is that he's a winger and can cross the ball for a striker who is more suited to receiving crosses. I see Joelinton as the cover for ASM/Almiron/Fraser
