Blaming him for the goal is too easy, Dona.
Livermore gave away the stupid free-kick which put us in that position in the first place, so should we blame him, too?
If Villas-Boas doesn't want him at the club, that's fine.
We should've got rid of him when we could or at least brought in someone, anyone, that can do his job, though.
Raul Mereiles is having a medical at Fenerbahce in advance of an £8m move, for example.
Worked with the manager at Porto and Chelsea and while not up there with Modric, he'd be a better option than an unfit player that the manager doesn't rate or nobody at all, which is where we stand now.
I'm assuming that Dembele will get a run out in that position in the future, which might work out for the best, but if he's not suited to that role, then where do we go?
i suppose your right in the sense that it is easy to blame him for the goal..and as you point out..it is a team game....i think ive got caught up between this unjust anti AVB vibe going around and those that dont help the cause....ill back anyone in a spurs shirt..but some people seem too big for thier boots...onwards and upwards for Spurs and AVB..heres hoping.
i think Dembele will work but in his own way..he wont do exactly what Modric did..and i hope the fickle amongst us dont latch onto that..ther is more than the Modric way of playing football.
