You seem to be suggesting that we should allow anyone to say anything on this site. No matter what? Should we have no rules at all on here, or not enforce them anyway? The Internet gives all the freedom to put up a site cheaply and to say whatever they wish. But this is a site with rules, and I have never seen a site without them which has been worth spending my precious time to read.
There is only one saints fan on this board I don't like and that's Saints4thewin. Because he takes the mickey out of suicide and slags off gary speed. Top bloke
In what way did he take the mickey? I'm a fan of Speed, and I'd never joke about something so awful, but I have reluctantly agreed with a few posters on here that suicide is a very selfish act. I know it's a delicate subject, but that shouldn't detract from what I feel is a valid point. Having said that, I don't much care for Saints4thewin either.
So if I posted multiple threads, one every few minutes, on the merits of something totally non-footy, (not going to tempt fate by saying what!!) then I should be allowed to carry on forever, even if it drives everyone off the board then I should be allowed? because it's my right?
Such threads can be closed can they not? We users also have the power to ignore people if we so choose, both with the "ignore" function and with our very own power of will. Besides, I haven't noticed such a degree of spam. This Tolimaluv guy's posts actually bordered on amusing, and he certainly didn't flood the board.
My twopennyworth is that this site is for discussion of football topics and other related subjects, not a place for someone on an ego trip to see how many people they can annoy with trash postings, I admit some can be amusing, if I respond it is usual to lighten it it up and test my wit against them, but you have to appreciate my sense of humour to realise what is going down.
I though I should contribute my view on this issue, it is apparant that the poster has not broken any of the rules below. By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. If anything Carlos he has been a victim of stereotypes to do with cocaine and militia, although holds no grudge against Banana Adam. I think the moderators would have to agree the nothing hateful has been said although its apparently ok to post distatsteful things about David Speed and suicide. It is also clear that the posts have in no way been offensive, indeed its apparant that they have been popular, posting about the merits of Jhon Viafara is relevant to both Southampton and Portsmouth, a relative success and Copa Libadores winner. It is also apparant that the moderators on this board have clearly lied, as a link does not exist between Carlos and saints to win. They have also not communicated with the poster, merely removed posts due to to their desire to control the board despite the popularity of these posts. I don't anticipate that the the moderators will comment on this as they are clearly aware that they are in the wrong and LIED in order to support an agenda, what that is remains a mystery. THE MODS SHOULD HANG HEADS IN SHAME My Penpal sends his his thanks to his supporters and wishes everyone an enjoyable end of season.
