Unemployed Managers...

He is now in his mid sixties, has been a relatively successful manager for over thirty years so probably thinking about retirement soon. But he lives in Cornwall as most on here probably know, so he would not need to relocate, and it's possible he'll bring Keith Curle with him.
As a person, I don't like Warnock, but then I did not like GJ, DW or SAF. But I respect them as football managers. As one former Sales manager of mine once said, "We don't have to like each other to work together. We are working colleagues not friends."

I genuinely do not want to see yet another change of manager at City, but SO'D now appears to have lost the plot like his two predecessors so a change is now essential in my opinion.

 

If the club could promise him funds, I actually think that Roy Keane would be a decent manager for us.

League 1 is probably his level, and he'd bail before things got even worse for us. Besides, he's ****ing terrifying, and I think that kind of terror is what the club needs. We've had idealists, and tactically sound managers, and none of them have done the job we need. Perhaps we should focus S'OD's work on the academy, and for the next year have Roy Keane screaming at the players every time they needlessly give the ball away.

 

At 64 he is still young enough to do the job and does have the track record.

SOD's big idea of possession and passing our way out of this division (unless he meant in the wrong direction!!) is fatally flawed IMO.

 

And where's the money going to come from?
