Another one bites the dust. Didn't realise he was younger than Barbarella though. Film was on last night but that's another one that I have never got round to watching.
I did, very often when I was 8 or 9. Much like Walkabout with the delectable Jenny! Every boy did, unless they were poofters obviously.
The film became a staple of late night cinema back in the day in Glasgow. I went to see it several times and could never remember anything about it apart from Jack Nicholson. The opening lines of the Pusher seemed to ring true with Glasgow audiences. When I actually watched the thing years later it was quite boring apart from Nicholson and the soundtrack. It's a really important film in terms of Indie cinema, but mostly Fonda was associated with pretty much turkey films, liner notes for the Byrds and a really decent track from Revolver. At least he knew how it felt to be dead. Despite all that RIP Peter Fonda.
