Just thought I would give a heads up to you guys if you are unaware of this podcast. It's basically an unknown comedian (Chris Browne), ex Sunderland, Blackburn, Preston striker Chris Brown and Jon Parkin (that bastard who scored at hat trick at ER for Preston). They chat to ex pro's usually from up north about stories from their careers. Theres some belters in there. Kevin Campbell sharing stories from his time at Tranbsonspor (?) in turkey is hilarious. Mark Crossley tells funny Brian Clough stories. Grobelaar on twatting steve McMahon and fighting in an African war. Windass ****ting in a teammates sandwich. Anyway, there are quite a few ex Leeds players on there and it's fairly good to hear some of the behind the scenes stuff. Theres Mickey Gray, Kilgallon, Mark Beesley, Dom Matteo, Clark Carlisle (a bit sad that one), Geoff Horsfield and Brett Ormerod so far from memory. Theres some other good ones including Windass, Grobelaar and Clive Allen has just done one. Ronnie Moore was decent too. Anyway, check them out on you tube. Well worth a watch/listen. Some really funny stories on there.
Yeah, I think they are a must for any old school football fan. Some good old school changing room stories. Glad you are enjoying them.
I've been trying to track these down on Youtube, but no joy. Do you have a link to the channel, or whatever it's called?
A google search for Under the Cosh podcast gave me this link as the very first result https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcCA2edOw1klhLHN4edDZWA
You're welcome WJ, I'd been meaning to catch these myself anyways, because the Talking Shutt guys have mentioned it a few times, your post gave me the incentive to actually go and find it
Just to clear things up. Go to YouTube. Search for "undr the cosh" and you will find a load of stuff that they do. If you subscribe to the channel, or even just click on the channel logo then that will take you to their you tube home page where you can select which interviews you want to watch or hear. They do other stuff but the interviews are great. Also, I don't have anything to do with this podcast, I'm not involved with it, I just happened to stumble across it and thought I'd share it with you guys. Each one is well over an hour long, sometimes 2 or 3 hours. I usually watch them at dinner times at work.
I was crying at this weeks! Anyone catching any of these? I'll stop posting in here if nobody is watching. Btw Tank is Alan Roger's who was on a few weeks back.
Yes mate Carlton Palmer one looks amusing, Alan Rodgers on the plane was ****ing brilliant anyone who is remotely interested in football should watch or listen on Spotify.
Yeah, Rogers was class. This week was his wing man Andy Johnson. Best waste of 2 hours I've ever spent!
