Underwhelming maybe but all is not lost.

Potentially yes. Rodwell is obviously quality but still working his way back to match fitness after sitting on his arse for so long. We saw with Giach last year it took him the best part of the season to get up to speed with the prem and potentially that could be the case with Alvez. Whilst ive never seen Alvez play reports say he is hit and miss and not as highly thought of as Giachi was.

But they are better than Gardner & Colback, without a shadow of doubt.

Didn't say we would go down, said a battle, your deluded thinking we are comfortable with now 30 mins to go, listen to your peers, fletcher immobile, conner either out of position or crap, and altidores record speaks for itself. We cannot attract anything we've heard off.

First 11 ok maybe, but 2 points from 9 then factor in injuries, and hardly a tough start

Gomez is better than Colback & Gardner. At least he will pass forward and not give 12 penalty's away a season. Just the worry is how long will it take to get up to speed and how long will it take before Rodwells hamstring goes ping!

Aye, Gomez too, my statement was better in midfield, I think that's absolutely certain.

Don't get me wrong....Colback can F right off as far as I'm concerned, I am 100% behind what Gus is trying to do and I think he has reshaped the midfield well but upfront I think we have failed badly.
