In relation to our academey: Southampton's academy has proved the most profitable in Europe over the last three years, producing talent that has subsequently been sold for more than £90m. Swansea were the next most profitable, raising more than £30m by selling players including Joe Allen and Ben Davies. (Daily Mail) I appreciate that a broken clock is right twice a day, but we should start to be seeing some more results for the amount investment that the club has put in.
