All well and good if we were in it right now, but we may lose players like Tiote and Ba before next season...

Is Europa League that much of a pay day? Probably costs more in travelling then it does prize money, but we're off in the Champions League anyway!

First I've ever heard of this, would more likely be the case if Stoke finish 7th and win the competition.

Only if the Arse or Chelski win the Champs, I thought?

Assuming they don't finish in the top 4, even then I'm not sure what the standing is as they were controversy about what to do when Liverpool finished 5th and won the Champions League in 2005.

harper is too old, and as i said ole doesn't appear to be rated. forster is a good call but will he stay to sit on the bench and be 2nd choice?
i hope we do get a cb this window, gradual recruitment is always better than trying to integrate half a dozen new players at the same time.
i don't like fergie as a lb, his best moments have always come going forward. i'd actually prefer him to get chances on the wing ahead of sammy.
hoilett would be a great shout.
i disagree about only needing 1 striker. even if we play HBA off ba (and use vuckic to cover that position) we'll need 1 to be able to rotate ba out and another incase of injuries. shola, best, lovenkrands etc just aren't good enough cover imo (i'm happy for us to spread these aquisitions over the next 3 windows though, not asking for everything all at once)

If we sign a left back, winger, forward or 2 and a centre back and maybe another centre mid then we defo have a good enough squad, although we probably have a good enough squad even if we don't sign that amount of players
