At the moment we have 21 players under contract and two contract offers given out

(02) Foster - Keep hearing rumours he wants to go back to bonny Scotland
(04) Fontaine - Should Go NOW
(07) Baldock - Think he will leave
(08) Kilkenny - As Fontaine
(10) Kelly - Stay
(12) Wilson - Go if he hasn't made the break through yet never will
(15) Pearson - If he can improve his Football Brain could be so much better
(16) Davies - If a NPC club makes an offer he will be off
(17) Cunningham - As Davies except it could even be a prem club
(18) Taylor - Stay
(19) Moloney -Stay
(21) Anderson - Stay
(24) Reid - Stay
(25) Elliott - Stay or Go as he wishes or S O'D wishes
(26) Bryan - Stay
(27) Adomah - Will be gone
(28) Holloway - Can't say
(29) Burns - Stay
(35) Ajala - Stay
(38) Castanheira - Stay
(00) Wynter - Stay
Contracts offered (5) Nyatanga - Better than Fonts so could be needed for cover (6) Carey - Think he's being groomed for a coaching role.

so thats only 12/13 which leaves 12 places to fill but I expect some of the goers might stay Fonts and Killa god help us.

which is a squad of 23 How many and who of this squad do you think will leave?
Because if everyone stays we will be way over the 23/24 man squad we are aiming for if we start making signings.
Personally I would be surprised if Adomah, Baldock, Cunningham, Davies will still be with us and I wouldn't be at all surprised if Kilkenny, Foster, Pearson, and Elliott also leave if they get the chance. Which would leave spaces for 8 or 9 signings.

What do the rest of you think?
 
Plus two keepers to come in makes it a squad of twenty five!

I would do everything possible to sell or remove the following from the squad;
(02) Foster
(04) Fontaine
(08) Kilkenny
(12) Wilson
(15) Pearson
(25) Elliott
(27) Adomah
(28) Holloway
 
(02) Foster. Can stay as back up, can play in a few positions, but not first team player.
(04) Fontaine. Hopefully he moves on, for himself as I doubt he could win the crowd over now.
(07) Baldock. Would like to see him stay IMO he owes us due to injuries
(08) Kilkenny. Do I really need to comment on this one.
(10) Kelly. Want him to stay.
(12) Wilson. Believe he could become good with a decent player next to him. Perhaps rose tinted glasses as he's from Chepstow and went to school with my boys.
(15) Pearson. His head is not here, so should move on.
(16) Davies. Want him to stay.
(17) Cunningham. Want him to stay unless good money offered we have Bryan to step up.
(18) Taylor. Think him and Baldock would be like him and LeFondre in league one. Destroyed defenders at Rotherham.
(19) Moloney. Like him but will be better in league one
(21) Anderson. This will be his season.
(24) Reid. If he don't play this season then something ain't right.
(25) Elliott. He can leave, but won't be dissapointed if he don't.
(26) Bryan. He can stay.
(27) Adomah. He's off waste of time commenting
(28) Holloway. Heard he has a bad attitude, reason why he don't break through.
(29) Burns. He can stay
(35) Ajala. He can stay
(38) Castanheira. He has to stay, we don't want to be buying more than 2 keepers
(00) Wynter. New recruit

There you go my list of stays are goes.
 
I said a few years back that they should build a team around Wilson as he was a future but he hasnt been given games and when he has playing along side Fontaine it was never foing to work.

From my understanding he will likely be gone by the start of the season as there has been a couple of clubs who have made enquiries (unknown but gillingham is a team which has been mentioned).

I would be happy to see most of the players go but the problem is they arent good enough and on high saleries so cant see many of them going but we need a good clear out and get rid of the dead wood and start again.
An announcment of two new centre defenders would go down very well with fans
 
(02) Foster. Keep-Utility squad player.
(04) Fontaine. Go- Been here far long enough.
(07) Baldock. Keep-Would be an asset, but understand if he were to go.
(08) Kilkenny. Go-SOD does appear to like him though.
(10) Kelly. Keep-Need a creative central midfielder.
(12) Wilson. Go- Has had long enough to establish himself and needs to go elsewhere now.
(15) Pearson. Go- Never got the impression he would drop a league.
(16) Davies. Keep-Looked quality from day one and would be a great asset in League 1.
(17) Cunningham. Keep-Good player but unlikely to stay.
(18) Taylor. Keep-Typical League 1 forward who will be very effective. Needs to find the net more often though.
(19) Moloney. Keep- Stood out well last season.
(21) Anderson. Keep. Should get a good run in the side.
(24) Reid. Keep, but needs to be played more.
(25) Elliott. Go- Passing ability seems to have deserted him.
(26) Bryan. Keep- Again, needs to be played more.
(27) Adomah. Go-Likely to be sold. Dont know if his head would be right if he did stay. we would get nothing at the end of next season.
(28) Holloway. Go-Never broken through.
(29) Burns. Keep. Like the look of this lad. Future potential.
(35) Ajala. Keep- As above
(38) Castanheira. Keep- The only keeper we have for the time being.
(00) Wynter- Keep as new signing.

Nyatanga (05). Go- Did well at the end of last season, but need a new centre back pairing.
Carey (06). Keep for one season for experience for the newer players.

New keeper (01)- Needed!

This would be my wish list.
