Stayed to watch the U23's and was a good game to watch, they certainly play some nice football and actually pass the ball forward. Really should have won it more convincingly than the 2-1 win. Olley got the first goal in the first half with Leur bang home after a shot from Annan the keeper couldn't hold mid way through the second. City had 2 further chances which Luer took to long to try and get his shot way and they were blocked. Then from a rare corner the visitors pulled one back with a neat finish at the near post. The game went into time added on and there was an altercation whereby Weir appeared to be punched, resulting in him kicking out at their player, which resulted in a bit of a brawl, and Weir getting sent off and the player who through the punch only getting a yellow. City saw the last couple of minutes out to take the win.

Not at the game, tomorrow night will be my last game watching City for 6 months, going on a job overseas, so couldn't make tonight also.
Didn't realise Wally was still on the go, done an amazing job over countless years in the East Riding.
Amen to that. Brilliant he did all that work from a little council house on bransholme. It's bugging me now, was it Blisland Close he lived down?
