Apparently it seems well known in the lower leagues ie Anoraks board, Le Fondre does`t do South.Does`t even like playing away games in the south. Money talks, but how long before hes another homesick northern boy.

    In JK we trust

****ing hell lads, we draw 0-0 at home and it's turning into the Leeds board. Yes, we didn't sign the strikers we wanted, yes, we have thrown away leads, but we are still doing ok. Let's sit back and wait the 12 games and see what KJ can do. We are nearly half way there already. We are not the sort of club that demands instant success. We need to have a reality check here.

Mcquoid has only played half a dozen games since having a very long injury. Bods are saying "there is no replacement for Morison". Who remembers morisons first 3 months in a millwall top? He was useless. Many were asking him to be dropped. Then suddenly everything fell into place.

Let's give the lads a bit of time hey. We have only lost 1 game (where a draw was probably deserved) and people are writing us off. 5 games in, still in the top half. Would be more worried if we had drawn those 3 games and looked like losing them, rather than dominating them.

saturday agree with you we are doing ok <ok>
but is ok good enough yes we are top half but our points total is closer the relegation positions than the promotion possitions Birmingham away next then the Hammers at home wheres the goals coming from to win them 2 ?
and if we dont where will we be then ?

we have played 2 of the promoted teams and took 1 point doesnt show much improvement does it, Palace were dire last season narrowly missing relegation for the second time running they are 4 points clear of us <ok>

the way things are going and if things dont change we will be in trouble by the time 12 games have come around,,,,

    Morning all <ok>

Like Saturday says we've only lost once in 5 games and a few years back it would have been the type of game that we'd have lost as Barnsley did nothing apart from the first 5/10 mins possession wise. I still thought we nick it 1-0 with all the chances we created and the two guilt edged chances (McQuiod & Robbo) we missed were quite frankly unbelievable but I'd be more concerned if we weren't creating anything and this was without Del boy playing.

Its typical of us to struggle against these types of teams who are happy with point which their fans reaction at the full time whistle showed as if they'd won the game but were turn over the shammers in three weeks with no Scottie Parker and Del boy back fully rested, at least its a point which is better than nothing as were usually slow starters. <ok>

We undoubtedly need reinforcements but our record of 1 defeat in 5 at high flying Southampton is a damn sight better than the weeds 3 defeats in 5! <whistle>

Bookies are obviously not convinced by Crippled Alice's better start than us as they're still a shorter price to go down! <whistle>

think it would just be nice to gamble on a player, especially at only 350k where if he didn't make it it doesnt matter so much, rather than wait for the right player at the right price, which might not be before wednesday

I agree Gibbs and that's the worry now with Kenny worrying about everything being perfect and now Rhodes should we get him will cost more than Le Fondre even if we get him at a knock down price. <doh>

    7/1 Grayson! Easy money <laugh>

All very well saying we've played well but failed to win, what happens when we don't create chances? 0pts is what will happen. When you're playing well you need to make the most of it as only the teams who finish in autos avoid bad spells which will inevitably occur at some point in our season. At least 4pts thrown away so far.

KJ said himself that he had no options on the bench but he knew that before the game started and also that he couldn't change the game with players but only formation. Our bench has been weak most games if not all this season and the transfer market soon to close. No one likes dropped points but more needed to be done in the transfer market but hasn't been. Batt should never have been included as an option this season given his serious injury; remember some players signed never recover and get medically retired. Hendo is picking up yellow cards too so that rings alarm bells as we have little cover let alone injuries. Still don't think KJ is allowed much money as there is debt to payoff. Get loans by all means but decent premier ones that seem to do well. :)

said before on here some players just will not come area, image etc,you are right mcoid not good enough for this league.should be in the reserves as for marquis been played in 1st team too quickly as well.i do think we lack ambition otherwise jackett would have spent some of the so called millions,do hope he knows what he is doing . saturday was bad and the turnout even worse ,hope that was our bad one out of the way,i just want us to spank the wet sham tossers in our next home game. <cheers>

I think KJ will play the loan market - after all we still have Batt, Racon and N'Gusson to come back from injury...as well as Trotter....:emoticon-0100-smile

However - Saturday was pretty dire though - I thought Barnsley were going to nick it in the last couple of minutes....glad their last effort flew wide! But at least we didn't do a 'Leeds'

Yeah - a bit like the ground on Saturday - ended up in the Harry's Bar after the game, and it was a bit like a funeral parlour! But I'm sure that things will live up with less than 48hours of the Transfer window left (not)
