Lifting of the EFL Umbongo not as straightforward as we hoped or thought.

As it stands we can only sign loans (no fee involved) or free/out of contract players. Not much of an improvement.

Negotiations with EFL are ongoing as the purpose of the restriction did not take into account the unique Sala case.

Although after stumping up £7m were there anymore funds available for purchases?
