Make an argument for any team bro. Not sure anybody would leave out any of the PL ever-presents either way though.

No, we talking ultimate PL teams mate, teams that if at their peak would make the league better and more combative.

The league would be a better place without Chelsea. Let's at least agree on that.

Back when Rangers had the money to attract foreign stars and Celtic were still good then yes.
    Now, no chance.

For me Blackburn ahead of Leicester due to that utterly devastating partnership of Shearer and Sutton, but still I wouldn’t have them in it. They’re a club that brings absolutely nothing to this party.

If people are genuinely OK with the Welsh sides I'd have the Jocks in like, the rivalry would be off the scale. A British Premier League would be a much more interesting league for them two alone.

Problem is they're both currently too **** to even compete midtable championship.

    Definite yes from me.

Should have them in the FA Cup first to see how it goes.

I dunno. What is the point of Everton? I can't remember at any point in the PL era that I actively enjoyed watching Everton.

You think of Newcastle and you think of the Keegan team. Southampton and Le Tissier era. Fergusons Man Utd. Dalglish and Blackburn. Then you look at Everton and just think "yeah, they are still here!". They don't seem very memorable.

If they had PL money for a few years they'd be huge clubs in a British PL. They don't have the money up there in the pub leagues but they would down here.

QPR - I feel like they should be in with a shout for having the best shiny in the Panini sticker albums.

    Important criteria.

I mean... Fairest way... You'd have to include teams that have actually won:

    Liverpool
    United
    City
    Arse
    Sunderland
    Wolves
    Everton
    Villa
    Wednesday
    Leicester*
    Chelsea
    Newc
    Derby
    PNE
    Leeds
    Burnley
    Ipswich *
    Blackburn
    Hudds
    Forest *
    Spurs
    WBA*
    Shef U*

But that's 23 team so eliminate the ones who only won once. *

That leaves us with 18. I'd add Forest back because back to back champions of Europe. That leaves one spot... So I'll give it to Northwich Victoria because that's only fair.

    Liverpool
    United
    City
    Arse
    Sunderland
    Wolves
    Everton
    Villa
    Wednesday
    Chelsea
    Newc
    Derby
    PNE
    Leeds
    Burnley
    Blackburn
    Hudds
    Forest *
    Spurs
    Northwich Vic

You put Rangers of Celtic in and you've automatically got a club who would have the entire population of Scotland as their fan base. Doesn't matter if they hate the club now they'd all be "**** England"... They would quickly get a lot of financial muscle.

You know, one thing looking at list of teams who have won. Not many London teams on the list... It's like a who's who of traditional working man cities. <ok>.

    Gotta accept an exceptional goal.

Someone posted a Ballotelli goal on one of the threads over the weekend (can't remember who) but he ran into the area facing a defender and goal keeper, did about 8 step-overs then put the ball in the net with a panenka whilst still running at them.

    ****ing ridiculous but brilliant.
