Wow, he does have a dig! First goal was absolutely class! Won't get that space over here though. I always ignore youtube vids though as I think they can even make Titus Bramble look world class but I do have to admit, this guy looks good, excellent finisher.
I see we just signed this lad (another striker) on a five year deal! Anyone seen him play before? Is he any good? He'll most definitely go out on loan for a year I'd assume.
well he is good for the future thats for sure.... Its good to see us going for youth finally... mata and lukaku look to be class signings... we are just missing a modric
Yep strikers in abundance! We need to see more of Josh!!! Can't believe he hasn't played yet, I was expecting him to feature later on in each game. I've got a sneaky feeling we're going to get Moutinho not Modric, don't know why just a gut instinct 
OH and yes with Mata - perfect debut! Made two mistakes the whole time and one of them created his own goal. Looks so composed and just what we've been missing out on left wing for a long time, can't wait for Sturridge to return and take that right wing position and carry on what he did pre season.

Davila looks to be play left/central midfield and not as a striker. Right footed shooting from the edge of the area and ball on the floor rather than the aerial threat a striker would have. Another one in the pot to claim Lampard's position. I don't believe anyone at Chelsea seriously considered Benayoun as a challenger to Frank, but used as injury cover and rotation when we have midweek games. The new twentysomethings are the ones who can be first team next year. I read somewhere people believe Davila will be loaned to Vitesse Arnham this season anyway, as he is a non-euro player (which may point to a Yossi exit though). I'm certain Josh is still very much in future plans. We now have four young prospects for attacking midfield (Kakuta, MacEachran, Romelu and Davila). I consider Ramires and Mata the finished article. I do not think Chelsea can reliably count Essien into the future. I feel he will have it all to prove when recovered, and will need to keep out one of these four youngsters.
