It would be absolutely fascinating to then see what FIFA did. It would be impossible to host it there post any disqualification for fan violence.
**** me, what is this feeling. Am i starting to gain faith in Uefa? No, no surely not, i must be confused. Bloody fantastic response from them.
You know what, it really will be interesting to see how the new, under the microscope FIFA handle this. Though I have thought on it, and can imagine that a very clear governmental message will be going out, unofficially, to these nut jobs saying 'not on our own turf under any circumstances' and that Russia 18 will be policed to such an extent that they can turn round and use it as propoganda to show the difference between a Russian and French run tournament
Some of the responses to that tweet are hilarious, my favourite was - "I'd be on the next train out with ya if I didn't have a dentist appointment tomorrow."
FIFA have no worthwhile morals, principles or values. They'd do nothing. They've already had their cash bags. The same as they'll still hold the 2022 finals in Qatar despite the likelihood of the Foreign Office having to warn female supporters on the risks of getting raped. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-36516006
I think these lads will ****ing do the ****s. We saw how terrified those flanges were once a group turned around and confronted them rather than the odd lone straggler which they ganged up on.
They only deported four, and Shprygin wasn't even spoken to. Apparently none of them were involved with the battle of Marseilles, and every single one of those clowns are still on the loose.
Time for Corcoran and Downs to be flown out? Just as soon as they have finished dealing with the Mansfield 200 of course.
Sky Sports News HQ @SkySportsNewsHQ Drinking in public banned in Lens and Lille from 6pm today until 6am Friday.
the good thing about consuming alcohol is that it doesnt hurt when you get a chair chucked at your head by a russian thug. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36528403
Not sure alcohol is the problem here is it. Not like the Russians got a bit carried away after drinking too much. They planned it and did what they set out to do.
the french police were incredibly unprepared but it's hard to monitor russians when russia itself only flagged less 'hooligans' than bloody switzerland and the open borders into france
