So you are defying the will of the people to have some form of brexit - if it is not your form.
No, I'm relying on The UK government to stick to it's well publicised aims. Regain sovereignty, end to free movement, end to sending large sums to Brussels and gain control of fisheries.
I would not be prepared to settle for anything less than those aims, all non EU countries would not sensibly negotiate any of the above issues.
The UK government's aim was Remain. I am happy for it to stick to that.
The government never set out to leave so did not advocate the things you describe at the time of the referendum. The will of the people is what you have spouted on about whenever it suits you - and that was simply "out" - not any detailed version. What the government now wants is irrelevant as it is a minority government and has not got the number to force through it's version of brexit.
You are just like each of the Tory pressure groups - you advocate one form of brexit when there are many.
I was obviously not talking about the preferences of the previous Tory Government but the one that has acted on the decision of the people of the UK to leave the EU. Mrs May clearly laid out her red lines in the Brexit negotiations I expect her to keep to them. The PM"s latest fudge has lost support of all sides, she needs to go back to her previous red lines and ensure the UK leaves without any further compromise.

Ah - so now the referendum itself is not what counts it is just a minority Tory group.
Mrs May's position has strayed all over the place so we need not concern ourselves with her current thoughts. You have always said the referendum was what counted. If you now do not believe that then anything is a fair brexit.

No - it was me trying to remind you of the referendum result because you seem to have forgotten that all it said was "leave" You now want to add one party's policies in a minority government as your new standard. No - no - no. The people have spoken - TM must not be allowed to use her minority government to overcome the will of the people. We want a Norway brexit. Leave means leave - and Norway are an example of a country NOT in the EU.
Sorry mate but you cannot use TM's minority government as an excuse to force your version of brexit on the people.

The Referendum result has been proved to be the result of leavers strong feelings amongst the public on some key issues. These are: ending uncontrolled immigration sovereignty and to stop sending large sums to Brussels. Once article 50 was successfully voted for in parliament the PM set out her vision for Brexit. This included promises to end uncontrolled immigration, sovereignty returned, stop large payments to Brussels etc. So basically as a 'remainer' she responded to the result by setting the terms the UK public had asked for.
So my vision of Brexit is extremely popular amongst Brexiteers. It is proving to be the only viable option at the moment with the EU blocking any kind of compromise. You on the other hand have no solution apart from total submission to the EU bullies.

The referendum that people voted on came before any red lines etc were dreamt up, so no one could have voted for them. Fact. As even many ardent leavers admit, these have been a hindrance not a help to the negotiations. The only test that has taken place since the red lines has been the general election. They were the Tories red lines and that resulted in their majority being withdrawn. No one can claim a way forward that the majority will accept, therefore let them sort out what they can and find out if that is what people thought they were voting for.

There has been a fair amount of research into why people voted to leave the EU. Immigration, sovereignty and stop sending large amounts to Brussels invariably top the polls. This is why the PM drew up her sensible red lines.
You are making up reasons that you support. As no question on the referendum asked for reasons it is just specualtion. Lies were told - and admitted by you so why people voted is not something that can be established.
What the PM says is irrelevant. The people chose brexit and one version is Norway. Stop moaning and accept it.
Your version of brexit is a minority Tory version. I go with those of other factions in the Tory party, the Labour Party, Plaid Cymru, SNP, Greens and so on.
It has nothing to do with the EU - what most people in this country want is NOT your extreme version of brexit. Get over it.
