buy him buy him, ****ing class, it'll be like tommorrows game all over, come jan, we'd have no strikers, but this time it'll be for more than a month.
Not a player i had previously heard of, but one who could fit into our team. Can shoot with both feet, seems reasonable in the air and dosnt take all day to get a shot away. Okay he may be playing in a lesser league but Ive always said that true goal scorers are instinctive, its not something you can teach someone. I have no doubt that very few would have given Kevin Philips much chance in the premier league but he took it in his stride and proved all the so called expert know ****alls just how little they really did know. Sign him, 2 or 3million isnt a huge fee in the bigger picture and how much would an English equivalent cost. To me its a no-brainer not to go for him.
Not sure about him do we really need another African player who'll be missing for a month when the African Cup kicks off ? As said the Scandinavian league is not the best quality can't really say don't watch it, to be honest I'd look good on youtube clips he could be a gem or a nugget. I'd still say no as we'd be back to square one with strikers when Gyan and he go for a month off (February/March time). I also think that Ellis Short will be taking a long hard look at transfers this time around and maybe knock this one on the head for us.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær 1990ââ¬â1994 Clausenengen 109 App (115 Goals) 1994ââ¬â1996 Molde 42 (31) Manu U for 1.5mil I know it was 1996 but still bloody cheap for that strike rate. (so its possible, whether it will happen or not is another matter).
That was a great deal like. No doubt about it. However: That's the thing. If a player is good but relatively unknown (like Tiote for example) you can pick up a bargain. However, as soon as other clubs start getting interested (such as Twente, Hamburg and Rennes) the value goes up as it becomes an auction. He already has interest from other clubs and he'll get press coverage if his form continues, so I can't see him going for as cheap as he would have anymore. Strikers in-particular seem to suffer from this hype the most. Interestingly, it just shows how much the value of players has went up over the last 15 years - even well beyond inflation. Solskjær cost ã1.5mill back then, but Shearer got the world record transfer with ã15mill. ã15mill! That's very common now in teams across Europe, and the transfer record now is over 5 times higher. Madness.
Drink ruined George Best. Prostitutes temporarily ruined Wayne Rooney. Gary Neville's personality ruined Gay Neville. Imogen Thomas made Ryan Giggs a ****ing legend
Didn't Nigeria get banned from international football after the World Cup, something about government interference. Does anyone on here know for sure??
DEALS WILL be done in the summer, who those deals are made by, is another matter, so as far as speculation goes, you are all winding each other for NOWT , now think about and BEHAVE.
