    Looking at the CL table, IMHO 17 pts
    will be needed to finish in the top 8.

    Assuming the table remains as of now
    (HT on todays' games) , that is on paper
    achievable for Spurs but sadly would still
    require two teams in the top 8 to falter.
    The remaining fixtures only have one
    such team (Inter Milan) as really vulnerable.
