Bruges

would IMHO be the best scenario for Spurs in the draw.

 

Yeah in terms of travel convenience and highest chance of winning, Club Brugge would probably be the pick.

But I wanted PSG in the groups for the glamour vibes, to be able to see the Neymar, Mbappe and Messi front three live too. I’ve seen Messi live when he came to Wembley with Barca and destroyed us, still yet to see Neymar and Mbappe. So if we got them I’d be pretty happy, even if it was almost a guaranteed defeat.

 

Bloody Monaco, not even having Mbappe on the bench when we played them at Wembley...

 

Ah, you’ve actually triggered my memory! For some reason I’d erased Monaco in my head, he came on against us at WHL in the Europa League for them the season before you speak of. I’m not counting it though, didn’t have a clue who he was at the time!

Quality film, the new one they’re both starring in looks to have exactly the same humour too.

 

In Bruges is probably my fav film of all time. A comic masterpiece.
The Banshees... is getting similarly great reviews. Can't wait to see it!
If you like Brendan Gleeson then 'The Guard' is a cracker too

 

It really is brilliant. I stumbled upon it by random about 10 years ago and it’s easily one of the best stumbles I’ve made. Some of the lines genuinely gave me jaw ache.

Yeah I saw it’s also written and directed by the same bloke that done In Bruges too, so with Farrell, Gleeson and him reuniting I’m expecting good things.

Not seen The Guard, will give it a watch soon.

 

Well worth a watch. Don Cheedle's in it and he's not ****. How often can you say that?
Edit: It's on Netflix at the moment. Forgot to mention that.
