I'm beginning to think the players won't need physical training with all these games.Just a wipe down with an oily rag from Chelsea.
Was just going thru things in preparation for updating the season compass, and our mate Bert tells us the following : https://kassiesa.net/uefa/calendar2020.html WTF !!?? Basically UEFA group stage participants are going to be playing two blocks of 3 games, with each game one week after the other. Perhaps a blessing in disguise that Spurs have already been doing this for most of September.
What did you expect? That's the only way to get it finished before Christmas given international breaks.
CL group stage draw : Group A: Munich, Atletico Madrid, RB Salzburg, Lokomotiv Moscow. Group B: Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan, Borussia Monchengladbach. Group C: Porto, Man City, Olympiakos, Marseille. Group D: Liverpool, Ajax, Atalanta, Midtjylland. Group E: Sevilla, Chelsea, Krasnodar, Rennes. Group F: Zenit St Petersburg, Dortmund, Lazio, Bruges. Group G: Juventus, Barcelona, Kiev, Ferencvaros. Group H: PSG, Man Utd, RB Leipzig, Istanbul Basaksehir.
Chelsky have the easiest opposition draw. The Poool have the easiest travel itinerary. Man Utd : see you soon ??
Just watched the champions league draw - just about stayed awake. Does anyone else think that this year the quality of team is much lower than when we have been involved. 3 teams from Russia, 2 from Ukraine, teams from Hungary and Denmark, and so many perennials missing No Lyon, Benfica, Sporting, Roma, Napoli, pot 3 (Leipzig and Inter aside) and pot 4 as bad as I can recall them being. Glad to see united get relatively hard group, but all 4 English side should get through. Also can anyone tell me who the woman is introducing the show and who took the piss out of Lewandowski?
Didn't watch it, but a quick search suggests Reshmin Chowdhury. I think I know why you want to know... please log in to view this image
The groups look pretty decent, to me. Chelsea's and the Juve/Barca group (Messi & Ronaldo? Not rigged, honest...) are bankers, but the others look more competitive. Replace a few teams with their more familiar rivals and it might look a bit more solid. Basaksehir/Galatasary, for example. A German Team might be another.
She's one of our own, apparently: https://talksport.com/football/582588/premier-league-talksport-reshmin-chowdhury-tottenham/
