So in place of the meaningless friendlies to make international football more interesting they create a tournament where the winner doesn't have to qualify, so has a big gap between the end of this tournament and the actual Euro's to fill with meaningless friendlies. Sounds great.

I don't have a problem with internationals in the summer. It's the constant international breaks during the year that bother me.

They should give a month in winter for international games and not have any other internationals outside of the summer except for that one month.

When players are going out and getting injured all year long it's bothersome... Less worried in the summer.

The cup final of a ****ty competition that your club has never even qualified for.........let alone gotten to a final.

Yeah this is my main problem with international football too to be honest.
Set aside a one month, have a PL break, then no more internationals until the off season.
Much better than constant interruptions in the PL schedule every 3 weeks.

No thanks, I'd rather keep my Christmas domestic footy.

I believe they're in the process of changing internationals though to play more games in longer (so less) breaks.

So instead of having 6 breaks a year with 2 matches you could have just three breaks but with four matches. Figures are made up but I think that sounds much better personally.

Probably, i've only been to like 5.

But you'd have gone to Baku would you?
I weren't about to spend £2k and have a hellish trip to Azerbai ****ing Jan just to watch us play Arsenal in the middle of nowhere in a 2nd rate competition.
Saying that, you wanted to be relegated so you could go to Reading and Rotherham, so you probably would have.

I can think of about 50 things id like to spend £2k on more than a ticket to Baku.

    Rattled ;)

The point was that we've qualified for Europe on multiple occasions, including 3 times this century...

    February.

The games are staggered so there will still be PL fixtures, just not a full set of fixtures.

Qatar World cup mate, everything is being pushed forward further and further each year to make room for that gash world cup in 2022.

Bope thinks you should only play football in England or mainland Europe at worst

Because that's the way we like it, we like it....

We all know how the Qatari's like it.

Funny how you are a left wing peacenik when it suits, but ultra right when it comes to your Akhi.
