They're clearly not, as friendlies are one-off, stand alone games, which do not lead to semi finals and finals.

Sort of. Obviously I don't really give a **** about Spurs, so there's that. But it is a bit distressing that Pochettino has overused Kane to such an extent that he's apparently burned the engine out of him.
