I sympathise with swords this time, ( not always) for what it's worth, I think fings was more of the aggressor

i honestly think you need some sort of councelling mate.
I was referring to the fact that whenever England play Swords and Col clash heads because col (rightly) supports our national team, and others are not so bothered.

Had nothing to do with you at that time mate. you really arent as important as you think you are.
Then for some reason you took it upon yourself to openly post that i should have been banned? For what?
Others have seen your disgracefull behaviour and Im waiting for the mods to act on it

i never said i was an angel but promised Roller and Nines i would not comment on anything you post on. i have been good to my word so far, yet you still feel the need to openly state i should be banned.? Im sure if others on here knew the FULL story then they may not put up with your ridiculous and offensive behaviour.

You're a great man for promises. Your post #130 above, what was that all about? I also received assurances from the mods that you would only respond in a positive manner to my posts. Your smart arse comments in post #130 weren't very positive.

Mods, for the moment, I won't quote your PM dated 13th September but you have 24 hours to keep to the promises made to me. I await your actions.

 

Fingy, I don't want to get into this again with you but that's what I was talking about. You have a grapple with someone on here but instead of taking it on the chin you run to the Mods, issuing them with ultimatums. Its a load of childish nonsense. Willy did something similar yet broke his own bargain he had with them and stormed out in a huff. As far as I can see, it's you - like Willy - who's after breaking your own agreement with the Mods, not Queens or anyone else.

secondly (again because you obviously didnt undertsand) i was commenting on the fact that every time we have a national game, Col stand up for our national team, Others put them down & traditionally swords and Col get into it.

Quite simply, you are looking for an argument that is not there and trying to scare the mods into banning me for posting about 2 other posters. Are you really that desperate to get me banned or do you have othe rissues.?
please post what the mods said on the 13th of sept to you and i will happily post my conversation where your behaviour was put into question also.
i have no secrets from anyone on here and do not bow to those who threaten others.

Mods. i to have kept my part of our bargain and was only drawn into this once someone decided i should be banned for something i have not done. please re-read the whole thread and note the point where i commented on Col & Swords.
Also note that fing didnt even realise i'd commented until after he said i should be banned. im sure this is against our forum rules.
When brix drew up these rules, i understood they they were for EVERYBODY to adhere to, and certain posters that wuld rather leave than abide by them, would be punished. this obviously hasnt happened and maybe now is the time to enforce the bans that should have beenm handed out previously to those involved. Including those that refused to abide by them?

Personally, i didnt have any problem with this thread and thought it quite amusing that Swords, Col & others were having thier usual arguments, hence the reason i didnt join in. but it appears that certain posters are forcing you to do things you know are wrong.
please dont bow to fings demands and let him post this quote from the 13th Sept. then everyone on the board will know where they stand in regards to me, fing and mods.

I don't suppose a mutual agreement (between all three of you) to put each other on ignore is possible at this stage? There doesn't seem any alternative to me given character differences and consistent polarised views.

I wouldn't want to see anyone to get banned or leave.

Failing that, i can't see this ending well but I couldn't even guess at who's expense, so better to sort it out amongst yourselves than leave to the moderators.

This is just a forum and is not worth such anger towards others - respect or ignore gents. Please.

Matt, for you and the others knowledge. i told the mods that i would not post in reply to anything fing posts or comment on anything he has said, and as such i have upheld my part of the bargain. the only time i broke this was when fing posted and my reply was :"thank god, finally something we totally agree on. Well done"

This was also accompanied by a pm saying lets put this to bed and forget about the past etc...

I got dragged into this for commenting on Col, swords and the usual path of this thread. im happy to continue my part of the deal, but it seems others are not.

theres more t it than that but i wont embarrass anyone with the details. just to say, ive kept my part of the deal so why are people calling or me to be banned?

absolutely ridiculous in my eyes....lI thought this was over and done.

You're all feeling aggrieved so a compromise is still the best outcome (assuming you can all do so before the mods reach any decisions).

 

I'm not feeling aggrieved now mate. Yes I was a bit last night when I seen Nines' post but I think they're both sound lads - Nines & Fingy. Things have just gotten out of hand. Queens is another top lad IMO.

For my part I won't comment further on anything Fingy posts.

If you could ignore (using the forum feature if necessary) then you need never see anything from these two that you find provocative. In turn, they've said they're willing to not respond directly to you.

You're a passionate voice on here and a good man. The other two, despite your differing opinons on various topics, are the same too.

Please agree mate and we can go back to doing what we all have in common - supporting the floating shipwreck of a club that is ours.

My god, how this thread has descended into a complete joke.
Time for everybody to take s deep breath, take one step to the rear and flush the toilet.
Personal arguments (which IS what's going on here) are not allowed on our forum for exactly this reason.
I would expect this in a kindergarten but not from adults. You're all important members on here and all contribute in varying ways. Forcing the Mods to take action is not a good idea.
Listen to Matt. Place the other person on ignore and get over it.

 

I strongly suggest that the main protagonists on this thread follow the sound advice given by Matt and Nuts (thank you gentlemen).

On a quick scan through I've seen nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual childish behaviour by people who should know better.

Those who are unable to determine the difference between lighthearted banter and jabbing each other in the chest with their fingers, I suggest that they stop commenting on other posters all together.
